Welcome  to  AWANA!

Felton Bible Church's Awana ministry is a part of Awana International, a worldwide effort to reach kids with the good news of Jesus Christ.  Our Awana ministry invites children and students into a weekly time of Bible lessons, Bible verse memorization, and small group participation.  All of this, paired with games and other activities, makes for a rich experience in the context of a safe and loving environment.  Our Awana ministry meets on Tuesdays from 6:20-8:00 pm, with check-in starting at 6:05 pm.  If you'd like, join us early at 5:30 pm for a low-cost dinner in the Awana Cafe.

COVID Update Note: Due to public health restrictions associated with the COVID pandemic, FBC's Awana ministry will look somewhat different for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please see the flyer linked below for further information.

The flyer available at this link will give you all the Awana information you need!

AWANA  VOLUNTEERS

Awana does not happen each year without a dedicated group of volunteers, eager to help kids know Jesus!  We'd love to welcome you as part of the Awana team.  In order to do so, we ask that you please accomplish the follow steps in our application process:

1. Complete the volunteer registration.

2. Complete the FBC Children and Youth Worker Application Form (Note: At the discretion of FBC's pastoral team, this step may involve an interview with one of our pastors).  Our Awana volunteers will need to re-accomplish this step with an updated form every three years.

3. Complete the criminal background check (updated every three years).
